Our story

Coding should feel like making magic.

Kodland is a school for young creators who want to build games, apps and websites. This blog is where we share the lessons, shortcuts and silly experiments that make learning to code stick.

Child building a colourful website on a laptop

Kind by default

No gatekeeping, no jargon. Every post assumes you are starting fresh.

Always buildable

Each tutorial ends with something you can run, play or show somebody.

Curiosity first

We would rather you ask a hundred questions than memorise one answer.

A student's learning journey

Here is what the first few months usually look like. Everyone moves at their own speed and that is completely fine.

  1. 1
    Week 1

    First line of code

Print a message, change it, break it, fix it. Confidence starts here.

  2. 2
    Week 4

    First tiny game

A guessing game with a score. Small, finished and genuinely fun.

  3. 3
    Week 10

    First shared project

A Roblox obby or a web page friends can actually open and play.

  4. 4
    Week 20

    First own idea

No tutorial. Just a sketch, a plan and the skills to build it.

Your turn to build

Pick a tutorial, follow the steps, and finish with a project that is yours.
